Well, it finally happened!
"What's that?" you ask?
Today at church, Atticus decided to stick Mommy's finger in his mouth and there was something there. More than just the usual drool.
No, it wasn't something he found on the floor that he thought looked tasty.
It was....
A tooth!
Little Man finally cut his first tooth. Pictures will probably come eventually, however, all attempts so far have failed since every time he opens his mouth his tongue hangs out and covers his new pearly white.
While you wait in anticipation for that rare photo, here is a sweet photo of Little Man off in dreamland.
{awwwwwwwwww}
Look at that pout!
And while he may not be crawling yet, he has learned that you can move around a LOT faster with the aid of this:
Yep, that's our laundry basket. And in case you are wondering, you can drastically reduce your amount of drag while pulling yourself along the floor if you stick your bottom half in one of these.
(There's an insider's tip for you, just in case you ever find yourself in need of quick ground transportation)
In other news, this weekend we had an exciting trip to a windmill. Not just ANY windmill - one that actually still grinds flour.
To buy our wheat we climbed three narrow, steep staircases up a windmill from the early 1400s. There are all sorts of interesting things to look at on your way up and the two older gentlemen that greet you are wonderful. The whole experience was verrrrrry cool! It was a little heavy cycling the wheat back home, but we stopped at the Chocolatier before heading home and, boy, was it worth it. Delish!
Everything else here is business, as usual.
We love and miss you all dearly.
Love,
Laura and Those Trouble Making Boys
{oh, my heart}
