On one of our last free Saturday mornings before our move we headed into downtown Bremen to be tourists and visit the City Hall. It was a nice trip, not as in depth as I was expecting and hoping but it was still neat to visit. There were plenty of things to see, like very detailed carvings, beautiful paintings (including one of King Solomon as their chosen reminder in the importance of righteous judgement - I liked that!), and interesting trivia (like that Michael Jackson had visited - which I did not know).
After the tour we headed over to visit the inside of the cathedral (which after living in Bremen for 2 years we had not been inside of yet). Well, they were just closing for services so we had some time to wait before they opened again. So we went and stopped in for some Bremen Chocolates before taking a seat on the cathedral steps and enjoying a little picnic lunch.

It was a nice way to spend a morning together and to get to explore a few places that we had not yet explored. Then it was back to the busy work of moving and lists. Oh joy!
