Phineas 10 Months

Trying to get pictures of this happy boy is getting more and more difficult. He gets so excited when the camera comes out and just wants to sit on my lap and look at the pictures on the camera. I think one of my favorite photos that I got this time around was of his face right up in front of the lens as if to say, "mommy, are you in there?". It's blurry, but it captures a moment that helps me remember his affectionate and active personality.

We're in a new home now and I love the light. This was the first time that I pulled out my camera (which has reminded me why it is time for me to upgrade...and to figure out why uploads to the blog all end up blurry) and it was fun. The big siblings reminded me that I needed to do Phineas' 10 month photos. So, with moving boxes and all, we set to work. And I say 'we' because both Milayla and Atticus love helping out.

Phineas now has 6 teeth (three on the top and three on the bottom), sings along with me when I sing songs around the house, explores everything, eats anything, smiles most of the time, gives some pretty awesome hugs, has the cutest and most infectious laugh, and is pulling up on everything as he begins to take his first steps along the furniture. Today, he pulled up on the activity walker and walked a couple steps on his own with it. You could see the excitement on his face. We were so excited, too.

Phineas is just such a happy kid. I love everything about him (though, come to think of it, I could do without the bout of biting). The hair wisps. The light in the eyes. The excitement as he masters new skills nearly every day. It's all just awesome. Learning is awesome.

Time to start looking for a bigger car seat and prepare ourselves for even more mobility in the coming months. The big siblings are already talking about birthday plans! I cannot believe that we are approaching that so quickly. Love you, Phineas.
