Just something that I want to look back and smile about.
Today we were out walking, exploring all the paths we haven't ventured down yet. We had our eyes set on a path about half a block away from us when I thought it best we turned around and went home. I told the kids I was having a gut feeling that we should get home before it rained on us.
Sure enough, we got home and it started sprinkling, then quickly started pouring. As we hopped in the front door the kids turned around to look at the rain coming down and Atticus exclaimed, "Mommy, it's sure a good thing you trusted your BUTT feeling". Haha! How funny that he had misheard the gut reaction. Perhaps I need to work better at speaking clearly.
It did lead to a little conversation about listening to impressions that we get. And it definitely gave us all a big smile. Of course, it helps that we love listening to the rain!
