While Atticus and Daddy have been busy with swimming, Mommy and Milayla have thoroughly enjoyed some one-on-one time. One of Milayla's favorite places to go is to visit the animals in the park. She adores animals.
Despite Milayla's interest in the donkeys, peacocks, alpacas and baby pigs, she seems to have the same affinity towards ducks as her older brother.
As soon as this little guy crossed our path, no other animal mattered. She smiled, waved and laughed. This duck definitely stole the show.
With all that time we've been spending in the park, it has also been our pleasure to see spring begin to bloom. What a treat it is to see the bright blossoms of the flowers contrast the dreary, bare trees.
Milayla already has such a keen sense for details and points out all the little things that stand out to her; new flowers, lady bugs on the leaves, people smiling. Not to mention, she has a knack for drawing people in and putting a smile on their face. This little girl is magical and it is truly a gift to spend time with her.
