This little guy is 11 Months today. Yikes! Where has the time gone. I'm so grateful for pictures. They help me feel like I am able to soak it all in a bit better and more. And this little guy is quite anxious to go full speed ahead in growing up.
He is super social, loves conducting music, dancing, and walking around the house (he can walk with the activity walker and whatever else he seems to be able to maneuver around). He will also play music on whatever he can get his little fingers on. He had quite a bit of fun when he thought to turn my water bottle on its' side and drum on it with two forks at one of our family picnics. And he has learned the joys of playing the recorder. Well, sort of. He has learned the that air pushed in makes sound and he loves it; along with the guitar, the piano, the tambourine, the xylophone and the rattle. He has also made our pot lids into cymbals. He has never seen cymbals before. He LOVES music. And he will sing along with us when we sing.
It has been a wonderful, exciting, and awesome 11 months. Now we are gearing up to celebrate his big first birthday. Maybe he'll start sleeping through the night to celebrate? Ha. Good thing we love those cuddles.
So grateful to have this happy, smiley, curious, loving, smart, cuddly, musician in our family.
Hopefully these pictures will help to remind me of this stage and to tell the story to him as he grows (because it's fun to look at pictures together)- the days of eating Mommy's phone, 'talking' on it, playing with the reflector, giving the worlds biggest smiles, the sweet little curls poking out from behind his baby ears, those big eyes, the button nose and the constant excitement and wonder for the world around him. Love this boy so much.
