Yes, another month has come and gone and Milayla has certainly kept us on our toes. She loves to be on the move; exploring, dancing, standing, crawling, pushing cars, absolutely everything.
She has been working on her four top teeth (her top right has just finally broken through) so a runny nose has been her constant companion. Poor girl.
But, of course, she is still just as happy as ever and glad to smile for a photo, though not so glad about sitting still.
We were only able to get a few photos of Milayla before she was getting antsy to either get outside or to run and play.
But while she played, Mama kept snapping pictures and was able to catch this girl in action.

Since learning how to roll cars along the floor and trains along tracks this girl is in love with things that 'go'.
Just check out the pure bliss on her face...
Her favorite toys right now are some of her big brother's cars that can be taken apart and rebuilt (the rebuilding part is still a work in progress). There are certainly some new toy cars in her near future.
Then she is mastering her shape sorting box, working on wood puzzles and reading books - a lot. When Milayla wants to read a book, she will crawl to the bookshelf pick one out and try her best to bring it back before crawling into your lap for a read. It is incredibly sweet. She loves turning pages and pointing at everything. Perhaps the most memorable item of this last month has been her new kisses; she will smoosh her face right up against yours as best as she can and leave a lovely trail of slobber all over your cheek. It's awesome. We love it. And the big smile on her face when she is all done makes it even better.
It has been a wonderful month!
