The Goat Farm

During Keely's visit we packed up Atticus and headed to a nearby goat farm. We were not too sure how well Atticus would handle being in close proximity to goats, horses and pigs but he was pretty relaxed about it. And again, we were very lucky to have Keely's photography expertise and her fantastic company.

We began with the baby goats, one of which attempted to eat the sleeve of Atticus' jacket but Atticus didn't mind.
not seeming to mind the goat that is nibbling on his jacket

Then it was on to the horses, cows, pigs, ducks, roosters and peacocks.

After we visited all the animals we stopped in at the store to purchase some fresh goat cheese. Our final stop was to indulge in some goat milk ice cream - DELISH!

pretty serious about his ice cream

Was a fun morning and it will definitely need to be a place that we take Atticus to again!

Love,
