On the Friday when Keely was visiting, we made the trek to Apenheul, a monkey zoo in Apeldoorn, where many of the monkeys are left free ranging. It was definitely worth the trip. We all really enjoyed our time there and the weather was perfect.
Atticus was certainly not afraid of the monkeys and seemed to think it was all pretty neat. We brought the stroller thinking that he would get tired of walking quickly, but he ended up walking for most of the park. There were also some interesting birds and turtles to check out and a carousel. By the time we headed home, we were all exhausted - Atticus especially.
