Our Little Man has a birthday coming up. Hard to believe that he will be turning TWO! So in anticipation of the upcoming celebration, here are some photos of what Atticus has been up to the last little while.
First up, here he is trying to show us that he can fit in his toy bucket with his Duplo.

After telling him that we couldn't go outside as it was raining he ran to the door, put on his rain boots, gave us a big smile and signed 'please'. Smart boy - he knows just how to melt his parents' hearts.
And when he isn't sporting the rain boots it's Mommy's shoes he sports, but that's probably because Mommy is the only one that is always forgetting to put her shoes away.
Atticus still loves sitting down and working on different creative activities such as painting, play dough and, most recently, puzzles. His favorite are his Hungry Caterpillar jigsaw puzzles, which he proudly and confidently does all by himself.
He is all about wearing his sunglasses and making silly faces while he works away on his puzzles too.
Nearly done, so the shades have come off to really focus...
This is the face that we get when we ask him to smile...
And this is the incredibly handsome smile we get when he has completed a task he set out to do.
Atticus loves bathtime! He loves it so much that he will clean up his toys much quicker if he knows that bath time is next.
Of course we need to include some lovely bath time photos...complete with funky shampooed hair.
And we certainly couldn't leave out one of the biggest changes around here lately; Atticus becoming a Big Brother! We knew that Atticus was a very loving and helpful boy before, but seeing all the affection he showers on his little sister puts a huge smile on our faces and exemplifies the limitless capacity of love. Milayla is one very lucky girl to have such an awesome big brother.
Life with Atticus is certainly never dull. He is always making us laugh, showering us with kisses and learning new things. We feel so spoiled and incredibly blessed to have him in our life, especially when he cuddles up to us for story time, when he claps for family scripture study, or when he corrects Daddy on how to properly fold his arms for prayer.
And how could we forget to be grateful for his lovely patience while Mommy snaps a million photos of him?
We sure do love this Little Man of ours!!!
